Charles S. Howard

Howard, Charles Solomon Charles Solomon Howard was born to Caleb and Geraldine Howard on April 2, 1944 in Chicago, IL. He accepted Christ in 1997 under the pastoralship of Reverend Willie V. Nichols. He served the church faithfully until his health failed him. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Gwendolyn Humphrey and Lollie Howard. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Drindle Stokes. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Drindle; four daughters, Chrystal (Portage, IN), Sherrell (Minneapolis, MN), Allison (St. Louis, MO), and Jerrilyn (Hammond, IN); five grandchildren, Chanell Curtis, Alexander Howard, Christopher McClellan, Theresa Smith, and Christina Howard; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Frazier; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial Service Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00pm at the New Nazareth Baptist Church, 1601 E. 21st Ave. Officiating Rev. Orvill A. Sanders, Jr.
