Florence A. Balucki

FLORENCE A. BALUCKI Merrillville, IN Age 76 passed away Saturday, June 25, 2005. She was a receptionist/bookkeeper for Dr. William Yocum and retired after 40 years of service. Florence was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing. Must of all, she was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and she was a great friend to her many dear friends. Florence was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Balucki; mother and step father, Cecelia and Mitchell Bernecki; brother, Stanley Balucki; sister, Josephine Balucki; and nephew, Mark Balucki. Florence is survived by two sisters, Virginia Galovic and Victoria Sohovich; sister-in-law, Mary Balucki; 12 nieces and nephews, Tim Balucki, Tom Galovic, Ann Marie Gaboury, Kathy Galovic, Andy Galovic, Joe Galovic, Martin Sohovich, David Sohovich, Diane Graves, Jacquie Henry, Michael Sohovich, Karen Demo and their spouses; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews; dear friend, Marie Edwards. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 10 a.m. directly at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 8303 Taft St., Merrillville, Rev. Joseph E. Vamos officiating. Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, Tuesday, June 28th from 2 to 8 p.m. Prayer service Tuesday at 3 p.m. Friends and family may also meet directly at the church Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. for a visitation prior to funeral services.
