1950 - 2022

Leroy (Baylee) Dixon was born on April 27, 1950, in Quitman Mississippi Baylee attended Roosevelt High School in Gary, IN. He was one of 10 children born to Pauline and Robert Williams. Baylee worked for Jackson Construction; he loved his job so much he continued working, even after retiring. He was known for his amazing energy that made everyone feel so welcome and loved. Baylee was well known for his cooking skills, spending time with his family and never missed a good meal. You could always count on him to give you a good laugh we were all his favorite Buster's as he would always say. He will truly be missed. Baylee was preceded in death by parents Robert and Pauline William's brother (Pedo) Dixon. He is survived by his son Jermain (Renecia) Ellis of Crown Point Indiana, daughter LeRine Dixon of Atlanta GA, Stepdaughters Rena (Willie) Neves of Tampa Florida, Tyra Thompkins of Atlanta, GA, Grandchildren Xavier Dixon, Dante Fields, Dejana Neves, Ison Neves, Ronnie Smith, Norrisha Lester, James Johnson, Brothers Frankie (Linda) Dixon of Gary, IN, Bobby Dixon of Merrillville, IN, Emmett Dixon of Gary, IN, Robert Williams Jr. of Gary, IN, Sisters Tina Scott of Indianapolis, IN, Kathleen Williams Uperia, MS, Roberta Carol (Glenn) Thompson of Merrillville, IN, Regina (Larry) Lawson of Gary, IN, Lisa (Darrell) Haynes Camisano, Italy and a host of other family and friends.
