Robert Roach Obituary

ROBERT ROACH Gary, Indiana At rest April 19, 2006. He leaves to cherish memories: four sons, Clemon (Betty) Roach, Charles (Cynthia) Roach both of Portland, OR, Willie Roach of Gary, IN, Melton Roach of Indianapolis, IN; five daughters, Doris Walker of Clarksdale, MS, Diana Spicer of Indianapolis, IN, Denise (Larry) Thornton of Triangle, VA, Annette (Johnnie) Sims of Gary, IN, Lisa (Bayron) Hendricks of Newport News, VA; one brother, Henry Lee Williams of Chicago, IL; 29 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; dedicated friends, Eddie and Helen Winbush; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation Tuesday, April 25, 2006 from 1 to 8 PM with Family Hour 7-8 PM. Funeral services Wednesday, April 26, 2006, 11 AM. All services at House of Robinson Memorial Chapel. Officiant Minister Johnnie B. Sims. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Robert was a former employee of Crown Point Cleaners, United States Steel Coke Plant, where he retired in 1987. After retirement he regained employment with Simmons Day Care as the bus driver. He was also the caretaker for Glen Ryan Community Center. Arrangements and direction entrusted to the House of Robinson, 1900 W. 15th Ave., Gary, IN.
