We met Brian through a mutual friend who introduced him to us for mutual interests: his boys' long-run and very successful racing careers. Frank and Brian worked together on Jon, and then Lance's karts. The boys' first flags still wave above Frank's bench, and although the boys' racing careers ended, our friendship with the entire family only grew stronger. Brian became just like a brother to Frank (who only has sisters).
As I close my eyes, I can still envisage him smiling when I opened the door to any of his frequent stop-by's.
Some folks talk about sharing God's love; Brian did. He shined with the love of the Lord through his smile, kindness, caring and 'ever-present' offers to help out another.
Our hearts go out to Peggy, Jon, Lance, Nikki and Amber, with loving hugs and prayers for peace in your hearts. We will always keep you close in thought, and in our hearts.
One of the children said that he was always their biggest fan, and we couldn't agree more. Indeed, he was.
Without doubt, we're sure the Lord has welcomed Brian saying, "Well done, faithful servant. Well done."
God be with all of you.
Love and hugs, your friends, Frank and Jodi Nelc

To The Goodman Family:
Our family met Jackie and Lee and their five boys when we moved across the street from them on Bengal Rd. in 1966. We have such fond memories of the years we spent in Neenah and afterwards when we moved away. Through the years we have kept in touch with all of the Goodman's.
Jackie and Lee you should be commended on the wonderful job you did molding your sons into the fine men that they have become.
It is so hard to say goodbye to Brian, he was such a wonderful man who was taken away too soon from us. He may be gone from this world, but he will always be in the hearts and minds of the many people who loved him.
We pray that as the years go by, his family will hurt less and Brian will be remembered for the simple pleasures of life that he loved so much.
Our prayers are with all of you and may God Bless you and give you peace.

I had the good fortune of growing up with Steve, Rob, Brian and all the Goodman boys, playing flashlight tag, riding our bikes Fritse park, and some rather roudy tackle football games. It was a wonderful way to grow up, and it makes me proud to see the wonderful legacy Brian has left. Much as I can I share in your grief, at the same time trusting the peace that passes all understanding. God Bless you and your family Brian.

To the Goodman Family,
I was shocked to read about the passing of Brian. I just saw him at St. Mary's Church during a recent confirmation. I was a playground leader years ago at Fritse Park and that's when I met the Goodman Family. From time to time when I ran into him I would re-introduce myself and catch up on what he and his brothers were doing. His time on earth was much too short. My prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

I know all to well that words will not help the pain you are feeling right now but knowing others are thinking about you and praying for you does bring some peace to the soul, so for now that is what I am praying for, some inner peace to get you through the days and weeks to come. Harry and Donna
