Carl Lindwall Obituary
Carl D. Lindwall, age 89 of Elkhorn, Wis., passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Fairhaven Health and Rehab Center in Whitewater, Wis. He was born March 9, 1923 in Ogema, Wis., the son of David and Henny (Carlsson) Lindwall. Carl was united in marriage to Shirley Meyer in 1948. He was an Engineer for The Rhinelander Paper Company for many years, then for Thilmany Company before his retirement. Carl was a founding member of the Fox Valley Instrumental Society. He was also a member of the Appleton Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of Elkhorn. His daughters; Becky (Michael) Wright of Clinton, Ms.; Carla Brieman of Milwaukee; and Cyndy (Tom) Schuetz of Delavan, Wis. His son, Mark (Darcy) Lindwall of Delafield, Wis.; 15 grandchildren, Alan (Cara) Wright, Hayley (Fiance-Corey) Wright. Drew (Petra) Brieman, Tara Brieman, Chase (Stacey) Brieman, Cole and Chelsea Brieman. Andrew, Jennifer and Heather Schuetz. Hayden, Erika and Aubrey Lindwall. Stefan (Nadege) Denzler. Five great-grandchildren; Adalyn, Christian, Savannah, Clara and Mattias. Also surviving, one brother, Richard (Rozelle) Lindwall; Son-in-law, Mark Brieman and brother-in-law, James (Charlene) Meyer. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Elmer, Walter and Harry, and one great-grandchild.
Memorial Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wis. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to service time on Thursday at the funeral home. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, Wis. is assisting the family. Visit us at www. monroefh.com.

My condolences to you, Shirley, and to your family. Carl and I were fellow officers of the Thilmany Management Club in 1974 when we attended the national convention in Florida and he met and became friends with Chuck Hannon, Launch Director with the NASA shuttle program and also an NMA member. Carl was a kind and gentle man. May the Lord welcome him with open arms.
