Karen Liebhauser Obituary

Karen L. Liebhauser, age 57 of Neenah, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 19, 2011. She was born August 14, 1954 to the late George and Mabel (Taggart) Liebhauser in Neenah.

Peace and Love were very important in Karen's everyday life. She was a very selfless person; always putting another's needs in front of her own. She treated her nieces and nephews as they were her own children, sharing with them the love of family holidays and trips up north. She will be missed around the campfires in Tomahawk, but will be remembered for her love of wind chimes, frogs, and angels. Karen was also an employee at SCA for 26 years.

Karen is survived by two brothers: Richard (Susan) and William Liebhauser; nieces and nephews: James (Stacey) Liebhauser; Cassandra Liebhauser; Tara (Troy) Albrecht and their children: Brooke, Alex, and Nyla; Heather (Matt) Schultz and their children: Tyler and Jayden; Melissa Liebhauser; Matthew (Jessica Gorzelitz) Liebhauser; and Abigail Liebhauser. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Sally Liebhauser; her best friend, Shadow; and her special friends: Debbie Vollmer; Barb Gillis; and Deb Mezera. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Liebhauser.

A funeral service for Karen will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m at church, until the hour of visitation. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Menasha.
