Michael J. Munes

Kaukauna - Michael J. Munes, age 60, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes while surrounded by his family on June 3, 2021. He was born on August 18, 1960, son of the late Joseph and Cedonia (Hannemann) Munes. Mike married Kimberly Bloch on September 24, 1983.

Mike served his country in the Army Reserves with the 1 274th Armor Unit of Appleton. He worked at Thilmany Papers in Kaukauna since 1979. Mike was an avid motorcycle rider, enjoying as much time on his Goldwing as he could. He participated in many charity rides and many of his rides never had a destination! An adventure was always had. Mike was always telling jokes and funny stories and was always trying to put smiles on people's faces. Anyone who knew Mike knew of his love for Ketchup. He put it on everything; he even put Ketchup on Ketchup! Mike enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and paranormal activities.

Mike is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kim Munes; children and grandchildren: Christina (Lee) Propson and their daughter, Lyla; Joseph (special friend, Jessi) Munes and children: Domnyck, Braydyn and Cierra; siblings: Janet, Reg (Char), Bob (Marilyn) and Jim (Deb) Munes; brothers and sisters-in-law: Joyce Munes, Rick (Theresa) Bloch, Jim Bloch, and Jessica (Jeff) Robedeaux; father and mother-in-law: Richard and Betty Bloch; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Cedonia; siblings: Gene (Florence) Munes, Mel Munes and Shirley (Louie) Zierler.
