Wayne Krablean Obituary

Krablean , Wayne A.

Wayne A. Krablean, age 69, of Menasha, passed away peacefully after a short battle with Leukemia. He was born on June 20, 1947 in Neenah to the late Arthur and Luella (Schommer) Krablean. Wayne attended Menasha High School and then enrolled with Vocational Tech, where he studied in their Culinary Arts program.

Wayne married the love of his life, Patricia on June 23, 1973 at Faith United Methodist Church in Neenah. Together there were blessed with two children, Linda and James. He was employed with Soo-Line/Wisconsin Central LTD. Railroad for over twenty-seven years. He then worked for Avis Car Rental part time during his retirement.

His two favorite past-times were NASCAR and bowling. Together Wayne and Patricia coached the junior program at Rocket Lanes for over ten years and played on a couple's league. Wayne was a part of the Metro and Metro-Mania Bowling Leagues for over forty years. While bowling with those leagues, Wayne made life-long friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his two children, Linda (Eric) Wach and James (Bob Wautlet) Krablean; three grandchildren, Brandon Bork, Shawn Bork, and Travis Bork; his siblings, Mike (Karin) Krablean, Mary (Ron) Wolf, Paul (Trina) Krablean and Scott (Ken Snart) Krablean; his brothers-in-law, Robert Scott and Dean Scott and son-in-law, Jeff Bork. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, dear friends and his bowling league buddies.

In addition to his parents Wayne was preceded in death by his in-laws, Ovel and Mabel (Patton) Scott; his niece, Lisa Wolf; great-nephew, Joshua Wolf-Krablean and two sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Wilmoth and Beulah Smith-Gibson.

It is hard to type through a waterfall of tears but,I'll try... What I know and loved about Wayne is simple, he saw ME, he acknowledged ME and he made it clear that I mattered, with out directly saying so. He would part a sea of people in order to greet me with a genuine "It's good to see you! how are you doing?" He would listen carefully and respond truthfully and he would make me laugh when I really didn't want to but, really needed to. I have always believed that the quality of time with someone holds more value than the quantity of time and honestly 5 minutes with Wayne was 5 minutes you wouldn't forget. I am so, very thankful for the laughs, the encouragement and love Wayne shared with me everytime we met. I really can't say how many times his words and amazing bear hugs lifted me up to a better state of mind but, I am grateful for every time he did. To those that were lucky to meet Wayne they'll tell you many great things about Wayne and they are all true! Rest easy my friend...???? My thoughts and love are with you Linda Wach, family and every one that is hurting over the loss of an amazingly special man.????

Krabby, it is with great sorrow to learn of your illness then hear of your passing. Your legacy will live on in those who you have coached. Your presence in the Fox Valley Traveling League is one of the reasons that league was so fun! Looking forward to hearing about the Ride Along with Dale Earnhardt when I join you on the other side. Rest in peace, Krabby.

Dear Patty and family, My prayers and thoughts are with you at this very sad time in your lives. I know how you are feeling....devasted!!! You see I just lost Marshall (my husband) on November 15th of this year due to squamous cell carcinoma. Know that Wayne is no longer suffering and that he is being held in palm of our Lord's hands. He is home safe. God bless each and everyone of you.
