Darrell Crofts Obituary

Howard Darrell Crofts, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Center in Idaho Falls.

Darrell was born Nov. 17, 1935, in Shelley to Joseph Charles Crofts and Melva Ethel Fowers Crofts. Darrell grew up in Shelley and graduated from Shelley High School.

After graduation, he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Biloxi, Miss. He worked for Drews Distributing for 29 years.

Darrell married Norene Cox on March 11, 1961. To this union they had two children. They were later divorced.

Darrell is survived by his children, Pam (Doug) Felde of Rigby and Darrell Blaine Crofts of Idaho Falls; a brother, Kim (Mary Ann) Crofts of Shelley; and three grandchildren, Jessie (TJ) Buttars, Jerrun Crofts and Riley Adam Felde.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Blaine Crofts and Terry Crofts; and a sister, Elma West.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. Burial will be in Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery with military rites by David B. Bleak Post 93 assisted by the Idaho Honor Guard. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
