David Kaneko Obituary
Kenichi David Kaneko, 76, of Idaho Falls, died Friday, June 3, 2016, at MorningStar Care Facility in Idaho Falls.
He was born Nov. 21, 1939, in Salina, Utah, to Noboru and Edychi Kaneko.
He graduated high school in Utah before attending Brigham Young University, where he graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree in biology.
He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and spent several years in the service.
He married Loraine Sakota in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They moved around some before settling down in the Rexburg area. They had one daughter.
He worked at the Naval Reactors Facility from 1976 to 2003, teaching Navy students chemistry and radiological controls.
He is preceded in death by his wife and his daughter.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Rexburg Cemetery. There will be a visitation held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg.
