James Masson Obituary

James (Jim) Masson, 64, passed away March 28th, 2024 at his home in Boise, Idaho.

He was born July 28th, 1959, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Lewis and Karen Masson. He spent his youth in Idaho Falls with his two brothers - Mark and Ross.

He attended Skyline High School and met his wife, Janet Downs and her two sons, before moving to San Diego to attend golf academy. They moved to Boise, Idaho, and had their son, James. After their divorce, Jim spent his time between Boise and Idaho Falls embracing his passions and being a loving father.

His passions were golf, motorcycles, skiing, cars, and so much more. Those who knew him will have many stories to tell.

He is survived by his son, James, his brother, Ross (Jenny), and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark, and his parents.

He requested to be cremated and to have his remains spread in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Memorials may be made to Cloverdale Funeral Home, Boise, Idaho.
