Janet "Jill" Cordon Moldenhauer, 65, passed away July 19, 2010, at her home of natural causes. Jill was born Nov. 19, 1944, to Leo and Ida Cordon in St. Anthony, Idaho. She attended schools in Ashton, Idaho. After high school, Jill married Steve Pond and was blessed with three children. They later divorced. She married Gary Moldenhauer in 1970, after which he adopted Alan, Robert and Kathy; they were later blessed with a son, Cody.
Jill was employed by Power County Highway District for 30 years, retiring in 2007. Jill's greatest passion was her family; her children and grandchildren. She seldom missed a time when she could watch her grandchildren and their activities. Her other passions were golf, bowling and spending time with her friends. Jill enjoyed their cabin in Island Park, reading, crocheting and camping.
Jill is survived by her husband, Gary; her four children, Allen (Lynn) of Glenn Allen, Va., Robert (LeeAnn) of American Falls, Kathy (Houston) Anderson of Pocatello and Cody (Chris) of American Falls; a twin brother, Jack (Pat) Cordon; a sister, Charyl (John) Price; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, LaRoy Cordon, Gary Cordon and Daryl Cordon; and her parents.
There will be a viewing from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, July 21, at Davis-Rose Mortuary in American Falls. There will be a gathering for friends and family one hour prior to the funeral which will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, at the LDS church located at 650 Pocatello Ave. in American Falls. Internment will follow the services at Falls View Cemetery in American Falls.

Gary - We were shocked to hear of Jill's passing. We never heard until Sunday (25th). She was a sweet, wonderful person.
