SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Ray E. Lundahl, 90, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died April 24, 2008.
He was born Oct. 2, 1917, in Logan, Utah, to Ernest W. and Mary Lundahl II. He attended Utah State University and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II.
He married Geraldine Morgan.
He met Geraldine at USU, and they were married in 1940. He served as an instructor at USU and entered the automobile business in 1946 in Idaho Falls. He was a dealership owner for 25 years before he retired and entered the real estate business as a broker with a G.R.I. designation specializing in investment properties. They moved to Scottsdale in 1981.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was active in community affairs and served as president of the Chamber of Commerce and of the Idaho State Automobile Dealers Association.
Survivors include his children, Craig R. (Rafaela) Lundahl, Cynthia Lundahl and Kirk M. Lundahl; and siblings, Flora L. Nielson, Alice J. Simonsen, Richard L. Lundahl and John L. Lundahl. He was preceded in death by his wife and his siblings, Lola Cowlishaw and Ernest W. Lundahl III.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 1, at the Pointe Hilton, Court Room MN, at 11111 N. Seventh St. in Phoenix, Ariz. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park, 4602 S. Yellowstone Ave. in Idaho Falls, at a later date.

Mr. Lundahl,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
