QUEENSBURY - It is with great sadness that we announce Robert passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, after a long illness. He is predeceasedby his mother, Elizabeth Sobiecki Novak; and step-dad Edward Novak; also his aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 35 years and partner in crime , Robin Granados Zukowski; his friend and stepson, Aaron (Val) Moore; grandboys: Caden, William and Austin; his aunt, Josie Maloney and several cousins.

Robert cherished his friends and family.

He had a real flair in the kitchen and on the grill. His meatballs were always in demand. He said watching the cooking channel was like going to school.

He loved to watch boxing and was 24 and 0 in the Army.

He loved fast cars, Street Outlaws was a favorite show of his. One of his favorite pastimes was to ride his Harley "The Enterprize." He never wanted to return home the same way as he left.

Robert taught himself to play guitar. He loved country music and learned many Willie Nelson songs. Willie would be proud.

He loved his camp in Lake George "The Blaze" always had a fire going.

Sincere thanks to the Dr's, nurses and staff at Glens Falls Hospital. Also heartfelt thanks to High Peaks Hospice in Glens Falls. The nurses and staff were so kind, helpful and compassionate. They made this journey so much easier to navigate.

Wish you didn't leave this world so young, Cuz, but I'm sure you are the coolest Beatle in heaven.

There are no words to express the sadness I feel to just discover the death of my cousin, Bobby.
My favorite memories of him were when I was a young girl. I would see him once a week when he came to my Grandmother's house with my Uncle Johnny, helping him with his work. Rarely, did a week go by when he wouldn't seek me out, ask how I was doing, and then before leaving he'd give me a loving pat on the shoulder and say, "take care, Cuz!"
I always thought he was the coolest guy because he'd be singing or humming the latest tunes and he had longer hair like the rock stars of the day. He liked that I always called him a Beatle.
He was also very physically strong and could do whatever my Grandmother asked him to. I'm sure he even knew I had a secret crush on him when I was about 12. :)
For many years I only saw him at family events. Sadly, in later years many of the events became funerals.
The last time we had a good talk was at my cousin/Aunt Anne's funeral. He said he was worried about his Mom and how hard she was taking her sister's death. Not long after, Aunt Betty did pass and I only saw him briefly then.
Now, I can't believe we are on to this generation passing away. I'm heartbroken I didn't get to say goodbye or give comfort his wife and family.
Farewell for now, Cuz, keep growing your hair so I recognize you and singing your tunes for the Lord.
