Wish you didn't leave this world so young, Cuz, but I'm sure you are the coolest Beatle in heaven.

There are no words to express the sadness I feel to just discover the death of my cousin, Bobby.
My favorite memories of him were when I was a young girl. I would see him once a week when he came to my Grandmother's house with my Uncle Johnny, helping him with his work. Rarely, did a week go by when he wouldn't seek me out, ask how I was doing, and then before leaving he'd give me a loving pat on the shoulder and say, "take care, Cuz!"
I always thought he was the coolest guy because he'd be singing or humming the latest tunes and he had longer hair like the rock stars of the day. He liked that I always called him a Beatle.
He was also very physically strong and could do whatever my Grandmother asked him to. I'm sure he even knew I had a secret crush on him when I was about 12. :)
For many years I only saw him at family events. Sadly, in later years many of the events became funerals.
The last time we had a good talk was at my cousin/Aunt Anne's funeral. He said he was worried about his Mom and how hard she was taking her sister's death. Not long after, Aunt Betty did pass and I only saw him briefly then.
Now, I can't believe we are on to this generation passing away. I'm heartbroken I didn't get to say goodbye or give comfort his wife and family.
Farewell for now, Cuz, keep growing your hair so I recognize you and singing your tunes for the Lord.
