Roger N. Prevost

QUEENSBURY - Roger N. Prevost, 86, of West Mountain Rd., passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Born April 13, 1938 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Albert and Marion (Johnson) Prevost.
Following high school Roger joined the Air Force and served from 1956 to 1960. He was a Glens Falls Policeman from 1961 to 1965 before working as a Vending Machine Repairman for Patrick, Daggets and Duval Vending.
Many of his enjoyments included golf, basketball, football, the Dallas Cowboys, old movies, especially old westerns, playing cards with friends and family and watching horse races. He also loved to travel, traveling throughout the Caribbean and Mexico but his best trip was to Italy.
Roger was a member of Bay Meadows and Queensbury Golf, Elks, VFW 2475 and Queensbury Seniors.
In addition to his parents, Roger was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Lisa M. Streeter, and his sister, Alberta Ives.
He leaves his son, Roger A. (Nicole) Prevost; his sister, Patricia Sullivan; his grandchildren: Michael Streeter, Rebecca Streeter, Brooke Prevost, Brody Prevost and Brennan Prevost.
"I can't promise that I'll be here for the rest of your life, but I can promise that I will love you for the rest of mine."
A graveside ceremony with Military Honors will take place at Bay St. Cemetery on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
