William Boyce Obituary

William C. "Bill" Boyce, Sr.

August 12, 1941 - October 12, 2024

EASTON/GREENWICH - William C. "Bill" Boyce, Sr., 83, resident of Easton passed away, peacefully on October 12, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

He was born on August 12, 1941, to Kenneth and Ellen (Hennessey) Boyce in Saratoga Springs, NY.

"The Man, The Myth, The Legend". Bill was the most dedicated, hardworking, and intelligent man. He was a man who would do anything for his family. He married the love of his life Juanita (Perkins) Boyce, and they spent 54 years together, building a lifetime of memories with their children and family.

Bill attended Schuylerville Central School before venturing off on his farming journey. He was the well-known founder of BJ Farms, the family farm he and his wife Juanita created in 1971. Starting from the ground up, working together, they quickly expanded due to their famous sweet corn. Farming was a majority of Bill's life, spending most of his time in a field, he poured everything he had into the farm, always finding new ways to make it better.

Aside from farming, Bill had a huge passion for his cars and drag racing. He would drag race his cars from Florida, all the way to Canada. Including a few locals, Lebanon Valley Speedway, Fonda Speedway and the South Glens Falls Dragway. He was a record holder and even won the Gainesville Winter Nationals.

Bill took pride in his work ethic, the work he did, along with his knowledge and skills. He was always providing for his family and helping anyone in need.

William was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Ellen Boyce; sons: Phillip Boyce and Paul Boyce; daughter, Billie Jo Boyce; sister, Patricia Boyce; grandmother, Lillian Dieffenbach; father-in-law, Roger Perkins; and his "Furever" best friend, Rocky, along with many other well-loved four-legged friends.

In addition to his loving wife, Juanita Boyce; he is survived by his sons; Bill (Lisa) Boyce, Jr, of Easton, Keith (Sharon) Boyce of Easton, Patrick (Saara) Boyce of Saratoga; brother-in-law, Paul (Beatrice) Perkins of Easton; 21 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren who he loved and cherished greatly.

Bill's family would like to thank the entire Hospice team for their support and aid in keeping him comfortable, during the most challenging of times. Special thanks to the Middle Falls Fire Department and the Easton-Greenwich Rescue Squad for all their help. The family greatly appreciates you all!

In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the Middle Falls Fire Department, Rt. 29 and 40, Middle Falls, NY, 12848 or the Easton-Greenwich Rescue Squad, PO Box 84, Greenwich, NY, 12834.
