John Barkasi Obituary

Mr. John G. Barkasi passed away on Thursday Dec. 7, 2017 at Good Shepherd Home in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He was 55 years old.
John was born to the late Elbert Oliver and Sandra Ferguson Ellis in Philadelphia, Pa on Feb. 27, 1962. During his lifetime he worked as an accountant for Siemens Corporation.
He will be missed by his best friend and life partner Keith Stoner of Stroudsburg; his children, Kyle and Kendra Barkasi of Pottstown, PA; mother Sandra Ferguson Ellis of Pottstown, with whom he resided for many years; siblings Michael Barkasi and his wife April of Pottstown, Thomas Barkasi of Plantation, Florida and Lisa Barkasi Renninger of Telford, PA; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Barthel and niece, Diandra Renninger.
A service will be held on Wednesday Dec. 13, 2017 at Bethel Community Church of Pottstown, 575 North Keim Street. The viewing will begin at 9 a.m. with the service to follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Ataxia Foundation in John's name.
