At 61, I still feel obligated to call him Mr. Dori. He was one of my favorite teachers and gave me the incentive to always do my best. To this day, some of my greatest memories from Pottsgrove include this great man. He will be missed by many whose lives he not only touched but help mold.

I am saddened by the news of Joe's death. He was truly one of Stowe's finest. From the days when he patronized my mom and dad's luncheonette on Race Street when Ginny and I were soda jerks, to his mentoring as a great teacher, to his nomination for my induction into the Pottsgrove School District Honor Roll in 2008...I will long remember his kindness and caring and will cherish fond memories of our relationship. Joe, RIP.

Joe Dori...one of Stowe's finest. When my sister Ginny and I were soda jerks in my mom and dad's lunchonette on Race Street, Joe was a frequent flyer. It was our treat serving him. In turn, he served the teaching profession well. I will forever cherish the fond memories. Joe, RIP, knowing you were loved by many and respected by all.

I will miss my dear friend, teacher and coach Mr. Joe Dori. He always made me feel like I was the best PGA Professional in the world. No matter how bad things were he always had a good thing to say. He cared more about everyone else and himself. He made everyone he touched a better person. I will miss him just like everyone else. But I know he will be playing many rounds of golf with some of the greatest names at ever played. He will also be looking down on all of us to help guide us when we need it. Rest in peace my dear friend!
