Anne LaPolla Obituary
Poughkeepsie - Jean was born August 14, 1927, raised in The Bronx, New York and was a resident of Poughkeepsie for more than 60 years. She was the daughter of John and Mary Livingston of Ireland, and the wife of the late Charles J. LaPolla.
She is survived by her sons, Robert LaPolla and Charles P. LaPolla, her daughters-in-law, Mary Perez and Ran LaPolla, her grandchildren, Dayle, Neal and Cole LaPolla, and her long time companion, Allan C. Turits.
Jean loved to garden, knit and collect antiques. She's gone to her rest after debilitating illness. She was a generous contributor to many charities and especially those supporting Native Americans. Her smile and generosity toward all who knew her will be sorely missed.
Calling hours will be held Friday January 22, 2016 from 10am to 12pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Burial will follow at the Wappingers Rural Cemetery.

So sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I would only see her briefly 2 or 3 times a year to do her taxes but I enjoyed each visit. She was very warm and caring and I know she'll be missed by all who knew her. Sincerely, Stan Kardas

Dearest Al and the LaPolla Family - I was so shocked to learn of Jean's passing my heart goes out to all of you. Al I'm sending you a personal note and Mass card to the house.
