Wappingers Falls - Laura Catherine Eagan, age 75, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Friday, June 11, 2021. She was born on January 19, 1946 in Beacon to Anna and Alexander Hunt. She was a life-long resident of Wappingers Falls.

Family always came first. Laura has said more than once, "Raising my sons was the happiest time in my life", which she happily did for most of her early life. She faithfully worked for Casperkill Country Club for over 20 years. She loved country music and dancing. Some of her hobbies were baking, collecting ducks, bingo nights and bowling, especially with her sisters. Later in life, she thoroughly enjoyed playing an active role in her grandchildren's lives.

Laura was preceded in death by her eldest sister, Mary Ann Page; they are both survived by their sister, Emily Versace. She is also survived by her son, Vincent Eagan, III and his wife, Denise; her son, Brian Eagan; her granddaughter, Jenna Sirois and her husband, Matt; her grandson, Matthew Eagan and his wife, Cate; and her two great-grandchildren, Gabriella Eagan and Liam Sirois.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Straub Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.

Laura will be laid to rest in Fishkill Rural Cemetery. She will be forever loved and forever remembered.
