Norma Bock Obituary
DOVER PLAINS - Norma Bock, age 67, of Dover Plains died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Yonkers, NY, on April 26, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John Kovach and Marian Peduzzi Kovach who resides in East Stroudsburg,PA. Norma spent most of her life in Briarcliff Manor, NY, but also was a resident of Westfield, MA for approximately 30 years. This wonderful woman leaves behind her mother, Marian Peduzzi Kovach along with her daughter Joann; son Brendan Pease (Susan) of Virginia Beach, VA and her daughter Holly Cusack (Tommy) of Westfield, MA.; grandchildren, Joey Pease, Anna Crawford, Erin Crawford, Cameron Cusack, Colin Cusack; sister, Theresa & Victor Winkler; brother, Johnny & Carol Kovach; loving husband Michael Bock of Dover Plains; his five children, Jeanine Mosher (Jack Wing), Debbi Prucha (Tom), Michael Bock, Nicole Gadbois (the late John Gadbois), Christian Bock (Valerie); 16 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Norma graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Johnson & Wales College, Providence, Rhode Island, and spent her last seven years in the business world at Marshall & Sterling Insurance Company. She had a great love of all arts and crafts and kept a beautiful home. All of those who knew her, loved her.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27, 2014, from 5pm-7pm, at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook, NY. Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made in Norma's memory to Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Ave., Hyde Park,NY 12538.
