Ruth Rhodes of Newburgh, NY passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at her home. She was 57 years old. Ruth was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on November 6, 1960. She is the daughter of the late Archie & Beulah Oliver Rhodes.
Ruth was a material handler for Spence Engineering in Walden, NY.
She is survived by her wife, Robin Rhodes-Reardon of Newburgh, her step son Joseph Reardon of New Windsor, her step daughter Holli Dayton of Walden, her brothers; Michael Rhodes and his wife Nancy of Poughkeepsie, John Rhodes of Newburgh, her sister Brenda and her husband Rene Otero of Poughkeepsie and her step grandson Callen "Chug a Lug" Dayton.
She was predeceased her 2 brothers; Raymond Rhodes and Frank Oliver.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 3pm-7pm at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro to which family and friends are invited.
Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Orange County, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

You were one of the sweetest people i've ever met, and can honestly say you're were in my life since i can remember. Friend turned family, Ruth you were in the delivery room with me when Elena was born. I knew how important it was to you to be able to experience that and i was so happy to be able to do it for you! The love you always showed us will be cherished forever and a day. No more pain, no more tears or worries. Rest in peace, fly high above us all and until we meet again, I love you......Samantha Cuomo
