Shirlee Baker Obituary
Hyde Park - Shirlee Ann Baker, age 64, of Hyde Park, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital Poughkeepsie, NY. Shirlee Ann was born January 25, 1951 in Cornwall, NY. She is the daughter of the late Robert Philip and the late Joan Marie (Chapman) Baker.
Shirlee Ann was a graduate of Richard the 1st Beauty School. She was employed as a hair dresser at the follow, Mister John's, Experiance One, Imperial Palace, Jag, Hennessy and Company and Split Enz.
Shirlee Ann was a very dedicated person who adored all her Clients. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother that loved all children and touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. She gave all of herself and was a very beautiful person.
She is survived by her husband David Smith of Hyde Park, daughters: Korri Sherpa, Julieann Curran and son John David Cathers; sisters: Gayle Marie and her husband John Hughes, KarenJo and her husband Charles William Meuser III; brother Charly and his wife Annette Long. She also is survived by her grandchildren Austin Pullman, Ricci Price, Dallas Corliss, Mary Curran, Anthony Joseph Cathers, Jaxson Cameron Cathers and Jazmyn Cathers.
Shirlee Ann was predeceased by her Brother, Robert Baker.
Calling hours will be Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 10am to 11am at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be Private.
The family ask that in lieu of Flowers donations be made in her name to Sloan Ketering Hospital 1275 York Ave. NY. NY.

Always loved getting my hair done....she was a classy lady with a kind and compassionate soul, and a big heart. My sympathy to her family, I know that she will be greatly missed.
