Bill Garlick Obituary
Windsor: Bill "Smokey" Garlick, 66, loving husband of Janet Radicchi Garlick peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday September 25, 2013. After a long courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents William and Phyllis Garlick, in laws Remo and Elenor Radicchi, sister in law Nancy Garlick, daughter Teri Garlick, and son Eric Holmes. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Janet Radicchi Garlick; children Tammy Garlick-Fredrick (Mike), Tonya Garlick, Cindy Holmes-Gohier (Gilles), Billy Garlick (Erin), Terri Garlick-Sanchez (Ivin), Christina Garlick; his brother Robert Garlick and sister Roberta Thomas (Ray). Also survived by nine grandchildren, Kyle Fredrick-Stevens (Kevin), Kara Fredrick, Duke Fredrick, Danielle Holmes, Michael Wild, Arianna Sanchez, Damian Sanchez ("the boy"), Mackenzie Rogers, Hannah Shaver; and two great grandchildren, Gavin Stevens and Michael Allen Wild Jr. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. At Bill's request there will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday October 5, 2013 at the West Windsor Fire Station from 2-7PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice in care of Lourdes Foundation at 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905. ARRANGEMENTS ARE BY AEGIS CREMATION AND FUNERAL SERVICES 196 CLINTON STREET BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK.

Janet and family, so sorry for your loss. I worked with "Smoke Dog" for 20 years at Ed Hartz & Sons. Whenever I would ask him how he was doing, he would say "always good". I know he loved his family very much. He always amazed me with his knowledge of everything from the Civil War to the history of Windsor. I never heard him say anything bad about ANYBODY. He was a good guy that was liked by one heck of a lot of people. Sometimes Smoke and I would trade propane routes in Windsor. It seemed like every other customer would come out and ask, "where's Bill? or "Smokey didn't retire did he"? or "Smokey doesn't do it that way". Everybody always had a good thing to say about Smokey. I'm glad to have known him. I'll miss ya Smoke. RIP

So sorry for your loss,Bill was a great guy,he delivered propane for years at our house,I was always happy to see him,and always had a smile on his face,I would say hi to him when I would go visit my grandkids,cauae he lived on the corner of mountain rd and east windsor rd.he was a great friend,he will be deeply missed.

Smokey was an amazing man!!! I can't believe he is gone! He was great at coaching softball, and also being able to make us kids smile when we were upset!! He always was there!! My heart goes out to the family! Smokey will never be forgotten! Even when he did come down and deliver our heat in the winter and I accidentally locked him out of the basement he waited till I got off the bus bc he knew it would be soon! And we needed the propane! :) love you smokey!!!
