She will live on in the memories of her beloved husband, Frank, and her children Frank (Marthanne) LoVuolo, Jr., Mark (Patricia) LoVuolo, and Cynthia (James) Cardillo, and in the memories of her grandchildren Nicholas LoVuolo, Adrienne LoVuolo, Jason Cardillo, Melissa Cardillo, Cathryn Cardillo, Heather Cardillo, and Matthew (Rebecca) Cardillo and their son Chase Cardillo; brother Samuel (Barbara) Paolillo in Indiana and their children Ben, Denise, Lisa and their families. Grace was a graduate of St. Bonaventure University where she met Frank. She was a retired English teacher from the Johnson City school district. Her faith, her family and her home were the source of her strength and courage. Grace was a sweet, gentle lady, who greeted everyone with a smile. She loved her flower gardens and cooking for everyone, especially at Christmas, her favorite time of the year. Our family would like to thank the staff at Lourdes hospital, 3rd floor West, her home health care aide, and Kathy Nolan for their thoughtfulness and compassion in our time of need. A Memorial Mass will be held on October 21, 2017 at 10:30 at St. Patrick's Church in Binghamton, NY. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Patrick's Church.

May God's light shine upon her through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Lovuolo's passing. She was a wonderful, kind and generous person. Jimmy T. and I had the pleasure of creating a yearbook under her guidance. All of us on her 'yearbook staff' loved her and I have great memories of fun times with everyone in the yearbook 'office'. We learned so much from her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I am so sad to hear of Mrs. LoVuolo's passing. I had her as an English teacher at Oakdale School and then at Johnson City High School. She was a wonderful teacher who brought literature to life and even made learning grammar fun. Most of all, she made us think. She is the reason I became a teacher, an English teacher by the way. She touched so many lives and was an example of what a teacher should be. She will be missed.

My condolences to the Lovuolo family. I did not know Grace, but she must have been a great lady as she was married to Frank. Frank was my teacher and my brother's teacher during the mid 1960's. He was a fantastic teacher and person and saw him a couple of times through the years. I remember him like it was yesterday as he was such a great teacher and person, so she had to be an awesome wonderful person. I'm sorry, Frank and family.

My sympathy to your family. I had the honor of being one of Mrs. LuVuolo's homeroom students in A-1 at JCHS from 10th to 12th grade. She was our start to the day and we ended the day with her. She cared greatly for all her students. Then I had the distinct pleasure of being a social studies teacher in the high school and teaching with her. Mrs. LoVuolo welcomed me as a colleague and her bright smile and caring ways continued through the years. I learned so much from her about the impact a teacher makes.
