Helen Doyle Obituary
Helen F. (Gazdik) Doyle, 89 of Binghamton passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the Vestal Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard F. Doyle. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy and Ken Wester, Herndon VA, Pat and Dale Carrow, Manassas, VA; two grandchildren, Keith and Kate Wester; a sister, Dorothy McKiddy, Endicott. She was a retired underwriter with Columbian Mutual Life Insurance Co. and enjoyed reading and needlework. Graveside services will be held Friday at 12 Noon in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. (Section 10). Reverend Monsignor John P. Putano will officiate. A celebration of her life will be held following the burial at her home in Sunrise Terrace.

Dear Kathy , Pat and family your mom was a beautiful lady. We knew each other a long time and when she retired she loved her time with your dad and all of you and making you all special gifts. I am sorry I did not visit her lately. I wish you all the best. God Bless!

Helen and I enjoyed a wonderful friendship while I worked at Columbian Mutual Life. She was always a delight and I appreciated her caring ways.

Love and prayers are with you all during this time. I enjoyed helping Helen at home and visiting her once she went to Vestal. She'll remain in my heart always. Thankful that her struggles are over and she can finally be at peace.

My sympathy to the Doyle Family.
Bernard and my father, Lawrence Frey, were cousins. Emma Gallagher Frey, Lawrence's mother, was a sister to Bernard's mother, Tess.
I had met both of your parents when I was doing some family history...was given a large number of Gallagher/Brieger photos by your Dad...and one other time, had lunch with your Mother.
Unfortunately, my Endicott connections are gone now, and only once in awhile do I recognize anyone on Pressconnects. I am sorry to find your mother there, but I sincerely hope that she has found peace and that you will be consoled by that thought.
