Karen M. Brooke
of Binghamton
Karen M. Brooke, 41, passed away Monday, August 5, 2002. She was predeceased by her parents, Rachel and Walter Brooke; a sister, Susan Brooke Miller; beloved grandparents, Edward and Bertha Ackley; and a special friend Groucho. She is survived by her aunt, Elizabeth Seeley; her cousins, Barbara Cuyle, Megan Noreika, Sylvia Seeley, Geoffrey Seeley, Helen May; a special friend, Rachel; and good friends, Brenda Borromei, Gail Evans and Debbie Fletcher. Karen was employed at Lowes in Vestal, having previously been employed at Ames. Funeral services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Project Paw, 127 Bevier St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13904 in Karen Brooke's memory.
