Scott Wright Obituary
Binghamton: Scott Allen Wright, Jr., 19, of Binghamton, born June 11, 1995, went to be with the Lord Monday morning, July 7, 2014. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Raymond Wright. He is survived by his mother, Yahira Garcia; his father, Scott A. Wright, Sr.; his siblings, Marina Wright, Joshua Wright, Yasmilyn Gonzalez, and Jocelyn Germain-Wright; his maternal grandparents, Andres and Marina Garcia; paternal grandmother, Lana Kaye Wright; maternal aunts and uncles, Irma Gutierrez, Mayra Garcia, Nelly Sexton, Esther Torres, Evelyn Rodriguez, Juan Garcia, Andres Garcia, Valentine Garcia, David Garcia, and Edwin E. Garcia; paternal aunts and uncle, Cindy Dubois, Joline Wright, and Raymond Wright; also several cousins. Scott was a 2014 graduate from Binghamton High School. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, cousin, and a friend. He loved sports but football was his heart. Scott loved his family, especially his father, mother, sisters, and brother. He will always be remembered for his humor, kindness, and love for others. Funeral services will be held at First Assembly of God Church, 255 Washington St., Binghamton, Friday at 12 Noon. Pastor Randy Eliason will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the First Assembly of God Church Friday from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Scott Wright Memorial Fund, C/O Visions Federal Credit Union, or the Memorial Fund for Scott Wright, Jr. at www.gofundme.com.

Scottie where do I begin Ioved you more than I ever showed or said. I remember when u used to play windsor little league football I wouldn't ever miss one practice or game I used to sit there with marina and just watch you for hours. When I was pregnant with my son you used to cook me food and always crack jokes with me and sit there with me and talk while I waited for marina to get home from work. I sat in that hospital everyday you were in there and still find myself wanting to go back just to block out the pain that your gone. I love you so much scottie and I still can't believe this is real you will always be a huge part of who I am and Ihope your making all those angles laugh like you did down here. Ill see you at the gates of heaven soon babyboy I love you

I didn't really know Scott well, I've met him three or four times through my daughter, Tanya, but I could tell he was just a wonderful kid with so much going for him; someone anyone would be proud to call their son. I only met Scottie a short while ago and I remember being so impressed the first time I met him. He was polite, sweet, and funny and I could tell he loved his family so much. I feel lucky that I had the pleasure of meeting him. Sharing in your sorrow as you remember Scottie. I'm so sad for the family and the loss. Scottie will be missed. I hope you find comfort in knowing that Scott, in his short life here on earth, touched many lives. He went to Windsor High School with Greg and he was always so encouraging to others on the track team there. Even this year when he ran against his old teammates from Windsor his upbeat and great sportsmanship shined through.
