Tammy Warner Obituary

Tammy Warner
of Masonville
Tammy Warner, 46, of Masonville, passed away at home on September 4, 2008 after an extended illness. Tammy was born in Sidney, N.Y. on January 27, 1962, the daughter of Guy and Estella Moore. She married James Warner on March 21, 1981. Tammy worked at various places in the Tri-Town area, and made many friends along the way. She liked to paint, sew, and work with her flowers, many of which were gifts from friends and family over the years. She especially loved her pets, which currently number four. Tammy also enjoyed science fiction and the supernatural. Perhaps she has now found her answers. One of Tammy's saddest times was the closing of the Masonville Elementary School. The loss of children's activities took away much enjoyment for her. Tammy is survived by her husband, James; two daughters, Stacey (Andy) Clements, Liverpool, and Lucy Anne at home. She is also survived by her mother, Estella, Unadilla; one brother, Terry Moore, Cicero; and uncle, David Moore, Poughkeepsie. She was predeceased by her father, Guy; and most recently by her grandmother, Marjorie LaValley.
Calling hours will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2008, and funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at C.H. Landers Funeral Home in Sidney. Donations can be made in care of the Delaware Valley Humane Society, P.O. Box 182, Sidney, N.Y. 13838.

Dearest Stella and Terry, Jim, Stacy, Lucy and family...I'm sorry for taking so long to find this guest book to sign...my thoughts were with you when I heard about Tammy...and on the day of the calling hours and funeral. My sister Karen attended and passed along my condolences...but I wish I could have been there in person to hug my other "mom" Stella...and of course Terry. Stacy, Kristin sends her love. God Bless you all...what a sad loss for a beautiful family. Tammy was a wonderful treasure...we had such a wonderful time "growing up" in Masonville and I'll never forget her beautiful smile, sense of humor and kindness to all creatures. I trust the special memories you all have of Tammy will get you through the years ahead where she will be missed at every family gathering and for some, every day. Love you all...Terry (Palombo)Dundon

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Jim, Lucy, and Stacey,

Please know my prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this very difficult time. Tammy was a wonderful person and I enjoyed working with her at the Masonville Library. She was always willing to help people and was so nice to everyone that came into the library.
She worked hard to try and increase the library's circulation. We all enjoyed Tammy's company and she will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
