Todd,
Never again have I had a Friend like you. My Memories of us were from a time when everything we experience together had an intensity and importance that only young lives can experience or understand, before being dulled by responsibilty and adulthood.
As I sit here writing this down I realize, with a renewed sense of loss, that, as much as I try, never again will I have a Friendship like we had.
You have left permanent and unerasable marks on my life.
And I thank you for all of them.

You live with all of us in memory.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Todd was friends with my sister, I was friends with his younger brother Thad. This family grew up with ours. The shock we felt that day was immeasurable. We sometimes have to wonder "Why?" You are not forgotten Todd, and you are always missed. :)

I was in 8th grade and a friend of Todd's when he was taken away. He was one of the "cool" kids and I wasn't, but he always was nice with me.
I can't even imagine where he would be today in his football career if he wouldn't have been taken away, but I bet he's leading an awesome team up in heaven!! And he's driving his cranberry/red car in style!!

Todd, a friend is a friend forever. I'll always remember you as the friends we were. It's been 25 years ago and we would still be friends today. I'm Thankful for the gift of time and memories we shared. You are missed by all. Warren
