Dax Enemark Obituary
December 13, 2005 - January 19, 2025
Dax was just the best. Everyone who met him and knew him immediately loved him. He passed away on the morning of January 19th at the age of 19. He is gone way too early, and we will love him and miss him forever.
Dax was born in Santa Rosa, CA and grew up there and in Windsor. He attended Hidden Valley Elementary School and then moved to Windsor in 4th grade. He graduated from Windsor High School in the class of 2024. Through the Boy Scouts of America, Dax earned the rank of Eagle Scout on February 27th, 2024, an achievement that he was extremely proud of.
Dax had an uncanny ability to get along with and relate to anyone from toddlers to senior citizens. He never passed up a chance to greet a cat or a dog that he encountered. He was kind, extremely respectful, and FIERCELY loyal to those in his circle. He was as stubborn as he was friendly but was always the first to offer to help with any task around the house or with friends and neighbors. Dax was a gentle and sensitive soul who always put others first, and we appreciate every little bit of time we got to spend with him. We sorely miss our gentle giant. Dax was a man of few words and had a wise and witty sense of humor if you were lucky enough to experience it.
Dax excelled at anything he put his mind to. Growing up he loved Legos of any sort, had a large collection of Rubik's Cubes which he could solve immediately, and loved hanging out with his brother. He loved building computers from scratch and selling them online and to friends. He loved to work and learn about making money, and he was proud to be able to earn enough money to buy his first car shortly after turning 16. He enjoyed working in the restaurant industry and formed many strong bonds and friendships with his co-workers. He loved so much connecting with friends online or over a meal, and he was fond of late-night cooking sessions and adventures after work getting food with his group of friends.
Dax is survived by his brother Ivan, his parents Kaesa and Michael Enemark, Grandmother Joanne Enemark, Grandfather Ken Wilbur, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles (and a great grandmother!) that he absolutely adored.
In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you hug each other a little longer, and take a trip to In-N-Out Burger and think of Dax.

I first met Dax in my kindergarten class 15 years ago. He truly was a gentle giant . He towered over his peers , but was always so kind, respectful and loving towards his friends . And yes, he did love those Legos. Dax was so special and I had the privilege of attending his Eagle Scout graduation many years later . His mom, Kaesa , has been my friend and mentor for many years and I always enjoyed hearing updates on one of my most memorable students . My heart goes out to his remarkable family . Dax will forever be in my heart and in the hearts of many. My condolences and prayers go out to all his family and friends . He was one of a kind . Sending much love .

Dear Enemark Family,
Dax´s spirit continues to shine brightly through the Eagle Scout project he completed last year. His generosity, hard work, and determination were evident in his efforts to make our student lunch area more inviting and beautiful. Through the addition of tetherball courts, garden benches, and trees, Dax´s work currently benefits over 60 students and staff.
On behalf of the 18-22 SRCS Transition Program, we want to thank you for allowing Dax to make such a positive impact on our program. In honor of his memory, we would like to donate a tree in Dax´s name, with our deepest sympathies.

Both of my sons worked with Dax at the restaurant. Whenever they spoke of him, they always did so with a little chuckle and positive thing to say. He brought out the cheerful side in others. When I met him a handful of times at the restaurant, he was easy to talk to, respectful, and kind. The thing I will remember about him was his sweet demeanor and smile. Working with Dax at KinSmoke was a daily joy. My day was always brightened by him; always the coolest guy around, yet the youngest. Even with all his swag, his attention was always to brightening other people's day. Dax and I didn´t work well together because we had too much fun. We would discuss how we wanted to "get our money up" to make a difference in the world. Dax was a financial wizard, a comic, an intuitive feeler, a stoic thinker, and a hard worker. I have known Kaesa and her family since she was in high school and so they all feel like family. My son and his family are very close to them all and they are devastated. I had the pleasure of working with Dax. He took pride in his work and was respected and adored.. at his wokplace. Staff and Management (some saw his as a little brother &/or a close friend) we all saw him as a friendly, kind- demeanored, sweet, hardworking, always smiling with a sarcastic sense of humor & witty banter that had all of us laughing. He made the workplace a lot more enjoyable, that's for sure! As an older woman (married & with a 16 yr old)
I'm definite, he was mildly annoyed but he always tolerated, listened attentively and respectfully, to my unwarented advice about girls & healthy relationships. Gave him advice regarding his taxes & what to claim, determining his best/future interests. I can't say enough good things about that young man. . I am so sorry to his family and can't even fathom what they're going through. My heart goes out to all of them.
I do know they raised an amazing young man, who will be missed by so many. Even in brief encounters, short work relationships. Those were memorable ones & He left quite the mark on others! Dax. You will be terribly missed.
