Kenneth Anderson Obituary

Kenneth M Anderson
September 12, 1941 - January 12, 2019
Kenneth Melton Anderson, passed peacefully with his children Kim and Kenny Anderson by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents Tressie, and Jessie Anderson, brothers, Ray, and Carl Anderson; mother of his children Vicki Anderson and life partner Barbara Crain and their four legged children Oly and Thunder. He is survived by two brothers LD and Jessie Anderson, sisters Dorothy McCarn and Barbara Sue Frazier, and numerous other family members. Born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, the family moved to Eureka, CA where he grew up. Ken moved to Santa Rosa, CA in 1959 where he met and married Vicki Bonald and had two children Kim and Kenny, which in return grew up to give him five grandchildren; Jessica, Johnny, Andrew, Tabatha, Sonora, and 14 great grandchildren. He was a proud member of the Operating Engineers for 57 years and six months. After retiring, he spent time doing what he enjoyed most, working on his home. Anyone who knew Ken will tell you he could show anyone how to fix anything "His Way" just as his passing "His Way". He also enjoyed traveling the US and abroad, hunting and driving his jeep through the Rubicon. A wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is truly going to be missed by all.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:00A.M. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Santa Rosa Memorial Park Chapel, 1900 Franklin Ave, Santa Rosa, and his ashes will be placed with his soul mate and travel companion Barbara Crain.

We called him Kenny. I met Kenny when he and Vicki first met. I lived across the street from Vicki and of course she was a dear friend after all. Ken and I had all kinds of fun in the very early 60´s, good and sometimes bad. Lol. He and I eventually ended working together for Soiland Underground Construction Co.
I am truly saddened that Kenny is no longer with all who truly new and loved him.

Dad,
I miss you so much. Working hard to complete your dreams and make you proud. I know you’re with me, but not hearing your voice and waiting for you to drive up or call is still heartbreaking . Little Cat still walks the yard looking for you. Give Mom the biggest huge for me , tell Barb Hi and be at peace. I love you , Kim Kim

I am so sorry to hear about Ken's passing. My memories of him go way back. I was best friends with Vicki, going back to 4th grade. So when Ken, entered her life he also entered mine as we often got together as teenagers do. I had planned to call him at the end of this month and now wish I had sooner. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
