Mark DeShields Obituary
Mark O. DeShields, 58, passed away on June 26, 2021, in Juneau, Alaska. Born in Redwood City, and having lived and worked most of his life in the Santa Rosa area, he was an expert in residential development and he was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his daughter Ashley Zhang, his grandson Ellis, his brother Mitchell, and his mother and father Joan Bee and Tyrone DeShields. He was predeceased by his brother Michael DeShields.
No service will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life is planned for summer, 2022.

My heart goes out to Mark and his family. I remember babysitting him and his brothers in our Bennett Valley neighborhood and again when they moved to Santa Rosa. I'll never forget his beautiful eyes and rambunctious spirit - always running around and playing with his brothers. May his spirit live on through his family and friends.
