Mikaela was born on July 30th, 1996 in Santa Rosa, to father Alan Chieffo and mother Melissa Villegas. She brought so much purpose, laughter, and joy into our lives. She had so much love in her heart always, especially for her siblings and pet dogs. She met the love of her life, Max Marshall after high school. In 2019, they moved to Portland, Oregon where they had just started their life together. They planned on traveling the world and starting a family. The light of our lives has gone out. Mikaela's battle with cancer is over. However, her spirit is with us in so many ways. She will continue to guide us forever with the memory of her gentle kindness, her elegant demeanor, her humor, wit, and sense of fairness and good will to everyone. Mikaela was an avid dog lover and they brought joy and peace to her life. She had dreams of opening a dog rescue. Goodbye our beautiful princess.
Mikaela is lovingly survived by her best friend and love of her life, Max Marshall; her father Alan Chieffo; her mother Melissa Villegas; her grandparents Patricia Chieffo…a mother to her, Beverly Villegas and Pedro and Irene Villegas; aunts and uncles Elisa Chieffo and Pedro Rojo, Andrea and Enrique Robles, Monica and Brad Crabtree, and Jesse Villegas; and her siblings Gianna Chieffo, Emilia Chieffo, Zander Remme, Piya Chieffo and Isabella Chieffo.
Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at the Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Avenue, Santa Rosa on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00AM. Interment services will follow at 1:00PM, Santa Rosa Memorial Park with a celebration of life at Franklin Park immediately following.
