Pauline Umland Obituary

Passed away peacefully on April 6th, 2011 in Santa Rosa at the age of 88. She was the youngest child born to John and Martha Popovich in Pittsburgh, PA. Pauline was a nurse and joined the Navy where she met her future husband Navy pilot Lt. Robert J. Umland. After the war, Pauline and Bob settled in Santa Rosa. Pauline is survived by her daughters Paula Lely (Dirk) and Babs Reighley (Jerry). She was the adored grandmother of Kristen and Garin Reighley and Andriana Lely Gibson. She is also survived by nephew Tim Dillon and her sister Anne Brody. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob and son Robert John Umland II. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on April 12 at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Rosa Memorial Park Chapel, 1900 Franklin Ave. Memorial donations may be made to the Santa Rosa Junior College Nursing Dept. or a charity of your choice. Paula and Babs -
