Scott Gladden Obituary

GLADDEN, Scott Charles Park City, UT. Our beloved husband, father, son, step-father, brother, nephew and dear friend, Scott Charles Gladden, age 48, finished his earthly business and was welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 5, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was surrounded by his loved ones during the time of passing. Scott was born in San Rafael, CA on March 19, 1954 to Eleanor Amaral and Elmer Gladden. He moved to Santa Rosa, CA at the age of four. Received a Bachelors Degree from the University of Santa Barbara. Received a Masters Degree in the study of Geology from the University of San Diego. Scott co-wrote and published his book: "Marketing and Selling A/E; and Other Marketing Services". He worked as a Senior Geologist in infrastructure for Kleinfelder. Scott married his soul mate and best friend, Victoria Lee on December 10, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was an avid reader and artist, loved the outdoors, sailing, scuba diving, skiing, and cruising on his motorcycle. He also held his pilots license, as he loved to fly. He leaves behind his beautiful and loving wife Victoria of Park City; daughter Amelia Gladden of Seattle, WA; step-children Jason King, Taylor Hobbs, Sunni Hobbs, Jeffrey Hobbs of South Jordan, and Nathan Hobbs of Park City; parents Eleanor and Elmer Gladden of Santa Rosa, CA; brother Mark Gladden of Healdsburg, CA; sisters JoAnn Tavalli of Pleasanton, CA, and Jill Garibaldi of San Mateo, CA. Also survived by grandchildren Dominic Hobbs and Kennedy King; and loving aunt Mary Amaral of Novato, CA.

We are so SORRY to hear of Scotts passing. Scott was truly a great individual to have know His wonderous personality and great sense of humor Scott was always a pleasure to be around, When we think of Scott we will always remember Him smiling... I really can't remember a time when Scott wasn't smiling.. We loved his Love for life, never wasting a valuable moment. Jerry had the pleasure of working for Scott & Vickie, Helping them to remodel their already beautiful home. And a few other remodeling jobs they wanted done to give it the "Vickie & Scott Gladden Touch". Our Hearts go out to Vickie Kids & Family. Our Prayers are with you.

I had the honor to know Scott while working with him at several companies. He always brightened everyones day with his sense of humor and love for life. It is so sad he was taken so early in life. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
