I was the Recreation Director at Avalon Senior Homes in Santa Rosa when Vera was a resident there.
She was one of my favorites: spunky, outspoken, lovely lady--memorable! I can still envision her as she was then. It has been my privilege to have known Vera A.

Robert and Toni! Condolences! Your Mom was a doll - and what a fun person! We called her "DOO" because she referred to huysband Tony as "DOO" which stood for "District Operations Officer"! LOL! Another time at a BofA function, she couldn't remember the name of the Assist Mgr. of the SR Branch. So she asked Tony "Who is he? and she answered her own question: "Oh, you mean don't do me any favor?" LOL! His name was really "Lou Favre"! I am sure she has rejoined Tony, and that rests in Peace! Most Fondly! Iver

Dear Bob:
So many fond memories. Will always remember your mom with love. Glad I got to spend some time with her these last few years. Bob, she loved you dearly. She was so proud of you and never failed to mention you, even on the last day I saw her when I gave her a birthday card and little Christmas teddy bear. Remember the good times! Love ya! Jude
