It has been over a year since Alan left us for a better place. I miss talking with him about anything and the laughs we had about everything. Alan made my life so much better, he was the best personand and friend and pray to be with him soon. God has blessed us all with his presents. JIM BYWATER

Alan was more like a second father to me than a cousin. So many amazing memories...beer being poured over my head...being hit in the eye with a softball when pitching to Alan (he felt horrible). All of our family trips, all the holidays we spent together.. will never be forgotten. He could always make me laugh and I feel truly blessed to have been so close to him my whole life. I will always love him and I know he will be missed by so many friends and family members. His last words to me were "remember how important family is, cause it all goes by so fast". I think of his words every day and strive to be as great of a parent as he was. Alan and my Dad are two of the most amazing men I've ever known. They just don't make them like that anymore :) I will miss him dearly, but I can look forward to seeing him again one day.

We will all miss Alan. He was more like a brother and my best friend than a cousin for 75 years .Our families grew up together and shared many happy memories. The laughter we shared on our trips, crusing and boating on Lake Mohave were the best of times. We would laugh till we cried.

Alan was deeply loved by all and he is waiting for us with some funny stories, a big smile and a loving hug. Alan was the best person I have ever known. As we always said when we left, "love you and see you soon."
