I always enjoyed contact with Dave. He was ahead of the curve in analyzing industry issues and he had a real interest in matching executives with the right job. He will be missed by the grocery industry.

I can still remember the first time I spoke with Dave, I kept wondering how he knew so much about me. that was early 2000 when he saved me from the failing Fleming Foods. I have had a lot of conversations with him over the years, and will certainly miss speaking with him. My love and prayers to his family.

I am so grateful to have become friends with David McDougal. Eight years ago on a Friday night I received a call from David and after an hour of talking I still never got a word in. I am so blessed that call happened as he was very inspirational for my career. Thank You Davidrest in peace.

What a great guy who always did his best to do the right thing for both sides of the table. He helped many individuals find a better place, and helped many organizations place some great talent. His presence and periodic contact and discussions will be greatly missed. My condolences to his entire family. David RIP.
