CECILIA ROBB Obituary



ROBB, CECILIA G. 96 -Born on 10/10/1916 in Wurzburg Germany to Albert and Maria Raab. After losing her mother at a young age, she went on to graduate from the "Institut den Englischers Nuns" boarding school in Bad Kissingeu, Germany in 1933. During World War II, Cecilia used her proficient skills in English, French and German to work for the Occupying American Army. In 1954, Cecilia met and married Col. C.C. Head, with whom she "discovered America" in San Antonio, Texas. After her husband's death in 1961, she moved to New York City where Cecilia reunited with an old friend, Franklin C. Robb. Franklin & Cecilia were married in 1963 & moved to Atlantic City in 1968. Cecilia was Assistant Director of Medical Records at the Atlantic City Medical Center until her retirement in 1986. She was a resident of Meadowview Nursing Home at the time of her death. Cecilia is survived by her adopted family, Mary Pat Somershoe; Eric, Rachel & Tristan Somershoe; Bruce, Mel, Mia & Bryan Somershoe. Cecilia is predeceased by her twelve brothers and sisters in Germany as well as her three husbands Hauptmann Franz Ludenberg of Wurzburg, Germany, Col. C.C. Head of San Antonio, Tx, and Franklin C. Robb of Atlantic City, NJ. Services will be held at a future date. Arrangements made by Jeffries and Keates Funeral Home
