Samuel Carelli Obituary
September 3, 1941 - July 4, 2025
Samuel "Bud" Carelli, Jr., 83, of Egg Harbor Twp., N.J., went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Oakmont, Pa., Samuel was the devoted son of the late Samuel P. Carelli Sr. and Mary Bendetto Carelli, and the loving husband of the late Barbara Carelli.
Samuel was a graduate of Bonner Catholic High School and attended two years at Villanova College. Samuel was a self-employed contractor and was owner and operator of Carelli Endeavor LLC for over 20 years. Samuel was a member of the Linwood and Northfield Fire Departments and was a strong-willed man who could be counted on. He was a good provider and the eternal optimist.
Samuel will be missed and fondly remembered by his daughter Amanda Carelli, sons; John and Sam Carelli; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Samuel's Life Celebration viewing on Monday July 14, 2025 from 5 pm to 7 pm, at Jeffries and Keates Funeral Home, 228 Infield Ave., Northfield, N.J. 08225. Interment services will be private at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Samuel's memory to the New Jersey Firefighters Benevolent Association at www.njfmba.org. Bud was a smart caring person, that wasn't afraid to tell anyone the truth. He Wanted to help people, anyway he could. Such a great protective father. He also raised such nice, good children. I'm glad I got to meet and know him. He's someone people don't forget & will be missed. Rest in peace with Barbara and Anne Marie & Darrin.
