Joyce, Howie, Amie and family -

I'm at a loss for words... and as Sheldon could have told you that's very unusual for me. I had the privilege of working with him for the past couple of years as a fellow Chapter secretary (Scott No. 4) and enjoyed the times we spent together when I found my way down to Linwood for a meeting of Trinity No. 38. Zichrono livracha.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Bank family at this time. I have had the priviledge to work with Sheldon's daughter Amie during my earliest days with The Arc of Atlantic County - we worked side-by-side for my first nine months on the job, and continue to work together despite her move to working in residential, rather than with us in the office. We have always gotten along great, and she was a huge help to me. I have also had the priviledge to know her brother Howie, and not only look forward to his phone call every Monday for wekeend respite, but have also worked with him as a volunteer and I also get to see him at the office. A truly wonderful family to know. May Sheldon find comfort in the afterlife, knowing the legacy he left behind in this life.

Sheldon, I had known you since I was a child, as my grandfather was a police officer in Atlantic City. Our paths crossed several more times over my life, when I worked for ACPD, and then again when my late husband, Jim, joined you on the Atlantic City Fire Reserves. More recently when I joined the Southern Counties Amateur Radio Association. Monday breakfasts and club events will never be the same. Here is a picture of Sheldon showing boy scouts hot to do Morse Code.

Rest in Peace, W2ASB
