Janet Marie Schumacher, age 64, of Stacy, Minnesota passed away surrounded by family on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Fairview Hospital, Wyoming, Minnesota.
Janet was born on October 20, 1959 to Richard and Barbara (Guttman) Anetsberger. She was truly a beloved wife, mother, aunt, daughter, sister and grandmother. She spent her days devoted to her faith and sheltering everyone around her, always putting her loved ones first and bringing joy to her children and grandchildren. Avid gardening, faith teacher, incredible cook and donor to many causes. Janet is survived by her husband, James; children, Tom (Liz) Theis, Bob Theis, Missy (Colin) Reuther, Trisha (Rory) Theis, Chris Schumacher, Nick Schumacher and Dan Schumacher; grandchildren, Richard, Catherine and Margaret Theis, Greta, Aoife and Willa Reuther, Eloa, Nibi and Ziibi Wakemup; brother, Frank Anetsberger and nephew, Jack Anetsberger. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Barbara Anetsberger; sisters, Theresa and Christine. Memorials preferred to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or A breath of Hope Foundation.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am, Friday, July 12, 2024 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church, Lindstrom, MN with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Grandstrand Funeral Home, Lindstrom, MN. Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com.
