Saddened to hear of her passing, but knowing she is now in the arms of the Lord is reassuring. She was such a special lady and was always so sweet to me. She constantly checked in with me to see how my girls were doing and I will never forget her kind spirit. Prayers for the family!

I am a Harrison teacher and was privileged to work with Ms. Chavis. She was ALWAYS so friendly to me. She always spoke very proudly of her granddaughter Kayla who went to Harrison. Several years ago she surprised me with a homemade Redskins apron. I won't forget her kindness. I'm saddened to hear of her passing. My prayers to Kayla and her family.
