JACOB BARTLEY Obituary
He was born Sept. 25, 1963, in Petersburg to the late Joseph C. Bartley and Rosetta M. Bartley.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joel Bartley; and sister, Susie Bartley.
He leaves to cherish in his memories: a wife, Sharon; one son, Tyrone Howard; two brothers, Joseph D. Bartley (Brenda), and Claude Bartley; three sisters, Nancy Harrison (Charles), Angela Bartley, and Cynthia Bartley (Mandell); one uncle, John Bartley (Shelma); three aunts, Virgie Perry, Minnette Taylor (Robert), and Leana Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many devoted friends, too many to name.
A funeral service will be held 5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 21, at the chapel of the William N. Bland and Son Funeral Home, Petersburg, with the Rev. Calvin E. Lewis Sr., officiating. The interment will be announced at a later date.
