Nancy and family,

I worked with your dad in the Aviation Unit from 1987 until he retired.

I can honestly say that he was the best supervisor, boss, leader that i ever had in the United States Army and the Virginia State Police. Honest, forceful, fair, and a great leader.

A caring, considerate, honest, no nonsense man, but with a good sense of humor.

His support for me and my family during my recovery from heart surgery will always be appreciated and his guidance and support was instrumental in my ability to return to the unit as a trooper pilot.

Your dad was a man among me who was greatly respected.

My family and I are deeply saddened by his passing.

Our sincere condolences.
