Kenneth Kemp Obituary
He was born in Ashland County, Ohio, the son of the late Clarence H. and Lula Lilly Kemp. Mr. Kemp was preceded in death by his wives, Thelma I. Kemp and Sharon F. Kemp, and a son, Randy S. Kemp. He was retired with a total of 35 years of government service, the last 25 years at the General Defense Supply Center in Chesterfield, Va., and he was a veteran with the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Kemp is survived by four children, Gary D. Kemp and wife, Wendy, Eric Kemp, Kimberly von Hitritz and husband, Stephen, and Sharie Wilkinson and husband, Wayne; five grandchildren, Erich and Philipp von Hitritz, Crystal Kemp, Sara Kemp and Kelly Burton; two sisters, Betty Herman and Clara June Royer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2011. Funeral services will take place in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 1, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bon Secours Hospice. Condolences to the family may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
