That Man From Galilee
Before his love came to me
I was tossed about like the rolling sea
Without direction, completely void
Until his love brought peace and Joy.

Who is this man who looks at me
With eyes so soft and tender?
He seems so strong and mighty
But his love towards me is gentle.
It is this love that sets my heart free,
This wonderful man from Galilee

What does he see when he looks at me?
He seems as if he knows me.
Does he see the person within
Or just the shell of what has been?

Can I trust him with my thoughts?
Does he know what I am feeling?
Will he mend my broken heart
And bring to me inner healing?
This great, great man from Galilee

How do I show my love for one so dear?
I will kneel at his feet, his great words to hear.
I will learn of his ways so right and pure,
So I can show others of his love so sure.

Together we will walk hand in hand
As I travel this path set before me.
We'll talk of the beauty of this great land,
Of the birds in the air,
and the flowers and the trees,
And I will tell others of such great love
Of this wonderful man from Galilee.

Oh the joy that rises up in my soul
A miracle in this heart once so cold,
All because of the love so pure and free
From this great man from Galilee.

SAFELY HOME

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief are over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder how I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Ah! But Jesus love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.

And He came Himself to meet me
in that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's will.

There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now while life remaineth,
You shall rest in Jesus' land.

When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of the meeting!
Oh, the joy to see you come!

All the pain and grief are over,
Every restless tossing passed,
Now at peace forever,
Safely Home In Heaven At Last!

Nature

As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.

TODAY

Today I shall have heart tugs
As each year I always do
Today I will remember
When your life on earth was through

Today I will remember
The years that we had
And think of you my child
Even though it makes me sad

Today I will never forget
As each day I never do
How much my heart aches
Loving and missing you

Today I'll light the candle
For peace in my heart
And remember my angel
When death made us part

But today my child
I'll smile through my tears
And always wish God had given me and you
Just a few more earthly years

Today my child
Tomorrow too
A century from today
I'll never stop loving you

There are so many things in this life,
That makes our tears to fall.
But we can always say to ourselves,
It will get better after all!

No matter what our worries may be,
We know they will soon be gone.
But others will be there to take their place,
Until we leave here and move on!

But until then we can know,
Life will always give us pain.
But, if we ask Jesus into our heart,
You know we have Heaven to gain!

We have many days filled with joy.
Then just as many days of despair.
We are often telling someone,
It just doesn't seem to be fair!

Just keep going and do your best,
To cheer up and calm your fears.
For joy will come in the morning,
When Jesus comes - that's after the tears!

Live for the Lord and be joyful
While here on this earth we stay.
Jesus will come some glad morning
to lift us up and take us away!

We'll live in that beautiful city
Where the streets are paved with gold.
There it's fully lighted by His Glory.
It's beauty has never been told!

In that place there'll only be joy.
No sorrow or pain or fears.
When we get up to Heaven.
That will be after the tears!

I Am Not Gone

I am not gone; I am changed.
Have faith and please believe me.
God did not take me away from you,
He split the skies and received me.

Now...

I'm an echo in your laughter,
A reflection in your tears,
An extra thread of strength
To help you overcome your fears.

I'm an added ray of sunshine,
More joy for you to share,
A fragrance of the life you live.
Wherever you are - I am there.

THE BEST IS YET TO BE

Can anything compare with this--
The life of FAITH sees through mists
If doubt and grief, and claims
His precious promise to sustain.

Ah yes the best us yet to be
Anticipating faith will see
His glorious face and realize
His Presence there -- our highest prize!

Can anything compare with love:
The love that reaches from Above,
And touches every part of me;
Unbounded love that sets us free

To know the LOVER of my soul--
The source of love that made me whole;
It's sitting there beneath His feet;
When life and love will be complete.

Can anything compare with this:
A HOPE that reaches and insists
His Word is true; a hope that waits
With clearer view of Heaven's gates.

Some happy day the Lord will come
For all his own, to take us home:
FAITH, LOVE and HOPE now surely see
The VERY BEST is yet to be!

I'M STILL HERE

Friend, please don't mourn for me
I'm still here, though you don't see.
I'm right by your side each night and day
and within your heart I long to stay.

My body is gone but I'm always near.
I'm everything you feel, see or hear.
My spirit is free, but I'll never depart
as long as you keep me alive in your heart.

I'll never wander out of your sight-
I'm the brightest star on a summer night.
I'll never be beyond your reach-
I'm the warm moist sand when you're at the beach.

I'm the colorful leaves when fall comes around
and the pure white snow that blankets the ground.
I'm the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond,
The clear cool water in a quiet pond.

I'm the first bright blossom you'll see in the spring,
The first warm raindrop that April will bring.
I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine,
and you'll see that the face in the moon is mine.

When you start thinking there's no one to love you,
you can talk to me through the Lord above you.
I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees,
and you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze.

I'm the hot salty tears that flow when you weep
and the beautiful dreams that come while you sleep.
I'm the smile you see on a baby's face.
Just look for me, friend, I'm everyplace!

I'll See You When the Sun Goes Down

I'll see you when the sun goes down
And all the stars go crazy,
And Christ returns to claim His throne
Upon this erring earth.
And you and I will be amazed
At all that now seems hazy;
For now is faith, but then will be
The glory of rebirth.

Death will die, and we will sing
With angels at our ears,
And all my love for you will pour
Like rivers from my song.

And joy will never end, for we
Will be beyond the years,
And time before the end of time
Will not seem very long.

How beautiful Creation will
Then be! Much more than now,
When visible to faith alone
As we endure our pain.

How wonderful the gift of grace
From Christ that will allow
Me well to bear my grief until
I see you once again.

All Through the Night

Sleep my child and peace attend thee,
All through the night
Guardian angels God will send thee,
All through the night;
Soft the drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and vale in slumber sleeping,
I my loved ones' watch am keeping,
All through the night.

Angels watching, e'er around thee,
All through the night
Midnight slumber close surround thee,
All through the night
Soft the drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and vale in slumber sleeping
I my loved ones' watch am keeping,
All through the night

While the moon her watch is keeping,
All through the night
While the weary world is sleeping,
All through the night
O'er thy spirit gently stealing,
Visions of delight revealing
Breathes a pure and holy feeling,
All through the night.

MEMORY, HITHER COME

Memory, hither come,
And tune your merry notes;
And, while upon the wind
Your music floats,

I'll pore upon the stream
Where sighing lovers dream,
And fish for fancies as they pass
Within the watery glass.

I'll drink of the clear stream,
And hear the linnet's song;
And there I'll lie and dream
The day along:

And, when night comes, I'll go
To places fit for woe,
Walking along the darken'd valley
With silent Melancholy.

Remember Me

To the living I am gone,
To the sorrowful, I will never return,
To the angry, I was cheated.
But to the happy, I am at peace.
And to the faithful, I have never left.

I cannot speak, but I can listen
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.
So, as you stand upon a shore,
Gazing at the beautiful sea-
Remember Me.

Remember me in your heart,
Your thoughts and your memories
Of the times we cried,
The times we fought,
The times we laughed,
For if you always think of me,
I will never be gone from your side.

Tapestry

My life is but a weaving
Between my God and me,
I do not choose the colors,
He worketh steadily.

Oftimes He weaveth sorrow,
And I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper,
And I the underside.

Not til the loom is silent,
And shuttles cease to fly,
Will God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful
In the skillful Weaver's hand,
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned

When God Gives Us a Gift
When God gives us a talent
He doesn't take it back
Just concentrate on what you have
Not what you think you lack.
Use to the fullest what He gave
And He will give you more
You never know what things
The Father has in store.
His storehouse is full of gifts
And He gives them freely to us each day
Some He sends without our asking
And others in answer to the prayers we .

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

An empty chair awaits me,

in heaven at this time.

To be beside the one I lost,

last year at Christmastime.

My loved one went ahead of me,

to sit by Jesus’ throne.

The empty chair beside me,

reminds me, I'm alone.

Alone, but not forgotten,

for I know you're next to me.

Not visible to my eyes,

but by spirit I can see.

Oh, what a glorious place,

with Jesus by your side.

The place that we call heaven,

is now where you reside.

It doesn't seem that long ago,

you went to Heaven on high

So sad I was to loose you;

I never wanted to say good-bye.

This empty chair remains,

but memories are in my heart.

For when I join you in Heaven,

we'll never have to part.

My Dearest Loved one:

I received your Letter from Heaven,

It made the teardrops fall.

But knowing you’re with God above,

Sweet memories, I will recall.

I know that you are with me,

For I feel your presence near.

And if I listen closely,

Your voice I then can hear.

I know you’re watching o’er me,

As you promised you would do.

And when I feel so saddened,

It’s your letter that sees me through.

When I lay in bed at night,

The day’s chores put to flight,

I truly feel your presence,

Like a warm and glowing light.

The rocky roads you mentioned,

And the hills that I must climb;

I’ve done exactly what you said,

By taking one day at a time.

I’ve tried to help others,

Who are in sorrow and in pain.

And now I am contented,

My day was not in vain.

I’ll lend a hand, as you have said

When someone is feeling low.

I’ll pray for them and be here,

‘Till on their way they go.

And when it’s time for me to go,

To join you in heaven high.

My wings I shall spread wide,

To my home up in the sky.

Lord, I come to you

In such a humble way.

Please forgive my faults

Keep me from going astray.

Between You and me Lord,

I come to You in prayer,

For there are days I stumble

And my soul to You, I bear.

Forgive me of my anger

When I feel I can’t go on.

Please take away my weakness

Replace it to be strong.

When I feel depressed

And all I do is weep,

Please give me all the faith

For me to hold and keep.

Between You, and me Lord,

Let my faith be ever so strong,

Instead of me whining,

Fill my heart with song.

For I know You are there Lord,

To help me one day at a time

And always with Your help,

This mountain I will climb.

It's not too far to Heaven

If you just take time to pray

It's closer than you may think

If you're not too far astray.

If you listen with your ears

When you need to make a choice,

Read from your Bible daily,

And you’ll hear our Father's voice.

If you open up your eyes

At the start of each new day,

Direct them to the heavens

And then take time to pray.

Confess your sins to Jesus,

For he died for you and me

To save us from our sins

On that cross at Calvary.

It's not too far to Heaven,

If you pursue in doing right,

Have faith and trust in God above.

He is our shining light.

The reasons for our living,

Was His plan for you and me.

It's not too far to Heaven,

When you pray on bended knee.

It’s not too far to Heaven

When you have been set free.

Ask our Lord to save you,

For it is He who holds the key.

Somewhere in my heart,

Beneath all of this pain,

Is a smile I still wear...

At the sound of your name.

The precious word is "MOTHER"

She was my world, you see,

But now my heart is breaking,

She's no longer here with me.

God chose her for His angel

To watch me from above,

To guide me and advise me

And know that I'm still loved.

The day she had to leave me,

Her life on earth was through,

But God had better plans for her

For this, I surely knew

When I think of her kind heart

And all those loving years,

Because we're only human,

They're bound to bring us tears.

She truly was my best friend,

Someone I could confide in,

She always had a tender touch,

A soft and gentle grin.

I want to thank you Mother

For teaching me so well,

Even though the time has come,

That I must bid you farewell.

I'll remember all you've taught me

To put God above all others...

For I had no better teacher,

Than you ..... My Dear Mother.

Even though you've left this earth

And had to take your flight,

I know that you are here with me,

Each morning, noon and night.

Lord, please hold on tightly, to my loved one that I lost,

The nights are cold and lonely, like the freezing from a frost.

I close my eyes at night, hoping sleep will over come...

Hoping that by morning, my body won’t feel numb.

Oh, God, how hard it is at times, even after all these years,

The pain just never goes away... nor do all the tears.

I can’t seem to focus, on the things I know I must,

For I still see the face, of the one I love and trust.

The holidays are rough, Dear God, even though I try my best,

But I can’t seem to forget the day, I laid my love to rest.

I read a book, I watch TV, I try to write a letter,

Hoping and praying, each day will soon get better.

Thanksgiving soon to be here, then Christmas on its way;

It’s so difficult to celebrate, since my love has gone away.

Forgive me Lord, for I am weak, and I wish to be strong,

Please take this sadness from my heart; replace it with a song.

Oh Lord, help me remember, You, are only a prayer away,

And when I keep my faith in You, I know I’ll be okay.

So as the holidays approach … to my loved one I express,

Not a day on earth goes by, that I fail to think of “us”.

And now I must be thankful, for God, I love You so

Just knowing You are there for me, so much to You, I owe.

Now in the quiet of the night, the snow falls from above,

As I look into the Heavens, I still miss my precious love.

Tonight I’ll light a candle, for the one I miss so much;

Knowing I can never feel, that tender loving touch.

But when I leave this world, and join my love again,

I’ll know in my heart, in God’s hands he’ll remain.

I see tears fall down your face

When your thoughts have turned to me.

Just know that I’m in heaven,

With my Lord, who’s set me free.

No pain or sadness do I feel,

For God is by my side.

The beauty here in Heaven

Is now where I reside.

I know it’s hard for you to cope

For you can’t feel my touch.

But every moment, I can see

And love you very much.

When you are at your lowest

And feel you can’t go on,

Look towards the heavens

The light will be turned on.

Talk to me, just like you did

On earth when I was there.

You see, I’m not so far away …

Only as far as a prayer.

And when it’s time for you to join

Me up in Heaven above.

It’s then that you will realize,

The Golden Place of love.

For here there is no sadness,

Just everlasting light.

Someday we will be joined again,

When it’s time to take your flight.

To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die."

"Someone had to teach the angels how to dance. Someone had to teach the angels how to dance. We asked the Lord for a second chance, but someone had to teach the angels."
Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I'll remember you. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all.
FADED PETALS

Through many years our bonds did grow,
In friendship's garden where I trace;
Each memory that we shared in life..
And once again I see your face.

If friends were flowers you have been
Growing strong beside me there.
I know that I have been in yours.
We tended each with loving care.

Our flowers bloomed as life moved on;
Becoming very closely bound.
I saw you. Was it yesterday?
Your laughter? I still hear the sound.

Such memories we shared dear friend,
In a garden filled with love.
We carefully tended what God made,
Because He blessed it from above.

Your earthly petals have now faded.
They now began to fall apart.
I quickly gathered them all up,
And pressed them closely in my heart.

Now I shall stand and count the hours,
As my petals too will someday fade...
And when we meet in Heavens Garden,
We'll be the colors we were made..
With the death of every friend I love... a part of me has been buried... but their contribution to my being of happiness, strength, and understanding remains to sustain me in my altered world.
MY SISTER'S BIBLE

In my hands I hold a Bible.
It was once my sister's book.
It was sent me by her children
With love, I opened it and looked.

As I turned the thin worn pages
I felt her warm presence near.
She led me to the passages
That to her were very dear.

As I read the words she underlined;
Tears filled my eyes so much....
I could scarcely see the scriptures,
But I felt my sister's touch.

Gentle hands that held this Bible
Held to mine through out our days.
From childhood till the day she left...
She taught me her gentle ways.

I still feel her right beside me
When I pick her Bible up.
I hear my sister's gentle voice,
Saying, "Drink From Heavens Cup."

"Open up this Bible sister.
Read; what I have lined with care.
If you cannot find your way dear...
My hands will lead you there."

I thank God for you dear sister.
I want to walk the path you trod.
Hold closely to my hand and heart...
While I come nearer to my God.
There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming GRIEF, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love.

The pain of a friend will always be the pain of me. When you shall cry, I shall cry. When you shall smile, I shall smile. My shoulder is your shoulder to cry on; my heart is your heart to share happiness and grief; my hand is your hand to help you up when you have fallen."

If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven,
And bring you home again.

No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say goodbye.
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knows why.

My heart aches so in sadness,
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.

God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around you
And whispered, "Come With Me."

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away,
Although we love you dearly
We could not make you stay.

So when we saw you sleeping
So peaceful from your pain,
We could not wish you back
To suffer that way again.

A golden heart stopped beating
Your hard-working hands were at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

One thing I have noticed is that when the leaves fall off the trees in the autumn, the new buds are already there, waiting for spring. Perhaps this is God's way of reminding us that there is always something beautiful to look for when something has been lost."

A TRUE FRIEND

I found a true friend.
That friend was you.
You came into my life
Right out of the blue.

We knew each other
For quite some time.
Who would of thought,
One day you would be mine?

We shared so much laughter and tears,
And we had so much fun.
Who would of thought
you would be the one?

But I should've known
For our friendship was too perfect.
I knew I couldn't have you
Forever to protect.

Protect me from my fears
And insecurities
I had to one day stand
On my own two feet.

You taught me so much
In this short time that we've had
Losing you hurt me deep inside
I don't ever want a soul to feel this bad.

I want you to know
I will never ever forget you
For everything you've taught me
I will try to be true to.

Now it's my turn to share
My love and take someone else's hand
And teach her how
To be a true friend.

This will be the hardest thing
I'll ever do
But I know I need
To let go of you.

For if I don't,
I will never move on.
There's nothing I can do
To change the fact that you're gone.

But until the day we will be together again,
Remember you will always be
My one and only true and special friend.

A shining star from up above
Reminds us of those we've loved.
Here today, gone tomorrow
Lonesome hearts filled with sorrow.

The pain of missing you never fades
But I cherish the friendship that we've made.
Though we can't talk day by day
I remember you in every way.

The laughs, the smiles, held so dear
Memories of you bring me cheer.
Holding you close in my heart-
With you forever, we'll never part.

Your hands have left a memory
Of kindness, warmth, and safety.
Although I know they're gone now
Your hands will always be with me.

When a quiet tear streams down my face
I think of your soft hands' embrace.
When a day I'm down and blue
I will always think of you.

Holding me, hugging me, setting me free
Of all these emotions empowering me.
I know that you are always here
Whispering "I love you" in my ear.

I wish so much
You didn't go
But I guess you had to
For reasons I do not know.
I miss your hands, dad,
Wiping a tear.
I miss them always
Holding me near.

I can't wait til the day
I see them once more
But I know until then
My heart will be sore.

Now each of my days
I will live for you
Sometimes it'll be hard,
But I can pull through.

When I play the piano
Or do what you love
I know you'll be watching
And smiling above.

It seems like only yesterday when our lives were intertwined.
But, in the twinkling of an eye, you went your way and I went mine.
Though my days were filled with my own life,
Many times I thought of you.
And though you didn't often say you loved me, deep inside I knew.

I must have crossed your mind a million times,
For I know that you crossed mine.
I wanted desperately to see you
But it just seemed there was never enough time.
I thought the day would never come
When it would be too late.
I thought tomorrow would always come
So I could afford to wait.

But, time waits for no one, and now we must say goodbye.
My brothers try to be strong, my sisters, please don't cry.
For life on earth was full of trials and battles all my own.
But I don't have to fight anymore because now I'm goin' home.

I will see my mother and father they will be waiting there for me.
No more heartache, no more pain, how happy I will be.
We have had our time together, good times and all the fun
But my life is now complete, and my work here is now done.

I know it will be hard for you, but know that I had to leave.
To all of those I dearly loved, please try not to grieve.
I am going to take my place, just over Jordan's tide.
I am going to find rest for my soul just on the other side.

I know I leave you in God's hands for you were placed there long ago.
I know you will be all right cause the father told me so.
I leave you now to take my place in that mansion in the sky.
Remember I'll always be with you, Goodnight, I love you, Goodbye.

TO THOSE I LOVE AND TO THOSE WHO LOVE ME

When I am gone release me let me go.
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears,
Be thankful for our many beautiful years
I gave to you my love.

You can only guess
How much you gave to me in happiness,
I thank you for the love you each have shown,
But now it's time I traveled on alone.

So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a time that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away, for life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I will come,
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear
All my love around you soft and clear.

And then, when you must come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and say~
"WELCOME HOME!"

MOTHER

Mother, dear Mother, we laid you to rest,
In the valley so lone and still,
With flowers and cypress arranged on your breast,
By the side of a murmuring rill.

The zephyrs breathe sweetly among the green boughs,
That wave o'er your lone narrow bed;
And the sunlight falls softly amid the green leaves
That rustle and nod o'er your head.

Mother, dear Mother, our home is so sad,
Where lately your loved form was known.
And dreary, and lonely, and dull is the hearth,
Where the light of your countenance shone.

And your voice once was music to fond loving hearts,
But now it is silent and still;
Oh, sadly we've turned in our sorrow and pain,
From your grave at the foot of the hill.

Mother, dear Mother, your place at our hearth
Can never, no never be filled;
We miss you at morning, at noon and at night,
With a pain that can hardly be stilled.

The toil-hardened hands that are folded to rest,
The smile that was tender and sweet;
The eyes that oft beamed with affection and love,
The presence that made home complete.

Mother, dear Mother, you've passed from this life
To the home of the pure and the blest;
You've left far behind you the toil and the strife,
And have entered the mansions of rest.

But the fond, loving lessons and precepts you taught,
Forever will live in the heart,
Till we meet you at last on the bright golden shore,
In a land where we never shall part.

When you consider that ONE HUNDRED years on Earth is relative to ONE MINUTE in Eternity (Heaven), then it's a little bit easier to think in the realm that we won't be "too far behind." Yes, we may miss our loved one's dearly, and we may think that many years will go by before we see them again. But if you use the analogy stated earlier, we can silently pray for our missed ones, and gently whisper: "I'll be with you in a minute!"

For them, it'll be like they went inside a restaurant as we parked the car and caught up with them before they were seated. It's just a matter of minutes in eternal time.

I'LL SEE YOU AGAIN

I looked at you once my friend-
And saw my dreams in your eyes,
Felt my spirit in your heart-
We were like one soul in two bodies.

Come any hardship, tear, or argument,
You'd be there, and so would I.
With every joy, smile, or celebration,
We'd share everything with each other.

I never imagined a day without hearing your voice,
Seeing you smile, laughing and crying with you.
But all of the sudden, you were gone.
Everything had changed in my life-

You took a part of me with you.
'It's not fair!' I would scream,
'Why did she leave me?'
I thought I could never smile again,

But I remembered you saying -
"Always be strong."
So, I lifted my head,
And moved on.

But, not a day passes
When I don't think of you.
My friend -
I'll never find another like you.

Now when I reach out,
You are not there.
My eyes have not met yours in years,
But I can feel you -

I know you're here with me.
I wish it didn't have to end,
But I know one day-
I'll see you again.

WHERE IS HE NOW?

We are in sorrow,
he is in total joy -
We see the separation,
he is in the presence of the Lord -

We know weeping,
he has had all the tears wiped away -
We shall know a deep loss,
he has gained a crown that will not fade away -

We are aware of his absence.
He has been welcomed home!

For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones,
And a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.

God hath not promised skies
Always blue,
Flowers-strewn pathways all
Our lives through;
God hath not promised sun
Without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace
Without pain.
But God hath promised strength
For the day.
Rest for the labor, light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help
From above,
Unfailing sympathy
Undying love...
REST IN PEACE

You are not forgotten loved one
Nor will you ever be
As long as life and memory last
We will miss thee.
We will miss you now
Our hearts are sore
As time goes by
We miss you more
Your loving smile
Your gentle face
No one can fill your vacant place.

When I come to the end of the day
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love we once shared,
Miss me but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the maker's plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds -
Miss me, but let me go.

I HAVE A PLACE IN HEAVEN

Please don't sing sad songs for me,
Forget your grief and fears,
For I am in a perfect place
Away from pain and tears...
It's far away from hunger
And hurt and want and pride,
I have a place in Heaven
With the Master at my side.
My life on earth was very good,
As earthly life can go,
But Paradise is so much more
Than anyone can know...
My heart is filled with happiness
And sweet rejoicing, too.
To walk with God is perfect peace,
A joy forever new.

I AM NOT HERE

Don't stand by my grave and weep,
For I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint of snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning, hush.
For I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circle flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand by my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.

When those we love go away, they never really leave us;
they are with us now, wherever we are.
Those whom we have cherished, live on forever,
for love wraps itself around the heart.
Although it's difficult now,
someday beyond our tears and all the world's wrongs;
beyond the clouds and all that we can see and touch,
we shall all understand.

Oh, how happy I shall be
When my journey here is run
When I see my Savior's face
And I hear Him say, "Well done".

"You have fought the faithful fight
And my child you've kept the faith.
Enter now my joy; our joy.
Won't you step inside the gate?"

Inside the gate, inside the gate
It's our home, sweet home.
No more to cry, no more to die.
A crown of life you've won.

"Your favorite band, your father's hand.
Your mansion near forever more.
It's all up here, I'll hear Him say,
When I step inside the gate

Inside the gate, inside the gate
It's our home, sweet home
No more to cry, no more to die

Inside the gate, inside the gate

Lead me 0' Lord, won’t You lead me
I am tired and I need Thy strength and power
To guide me over my darkest hour
For just open my eyes that I may see
Lead me 0' Lord, won’t You lead me

Lead me, guide me along the way
For if You lead me I cannot stray
Or just open my eyes that I may see
Lead me 0' Lord, won’t You lead me
I am lost if You take Your hand from me
I am blind without Your light to see

Lord just always let me Thy servant be
Lead me 0' Lord, won’t You lead me
Lead me, guide me along the way
For if You lead me I cannot stray

Lord just open my eyes that I may see
Lead me O' Lord, won’t You lead me
