Alex was one of the first people I met when I started my career at Federal Products in 1980. I remember going on a seminar at URI Campus that lasted a full week and got to know Alex on a business level and also just as a person. I was primarily a Financial and Business Systems Person and spent my final years in R&D/Engineering where our paths crossed extensively. I often called upon Alex to give many talks on a vast number of metrology related topics. He will be remembered. A great man.
